We were very pleased with the Centrale Hotel. It certainly lives up to its name of central. It is situated right between Lower and Upper town and you can tour both areas by foot. Of course it is right beside one of the main stations so you can hop on the train for any where you want to go including the Airport.
Top Tip
Many good restaurants on Boucher street. We liked Chez Leon. Also on St. Catherine Square, near the fish market, there are good fish restaurants.Read Eyewitness Travel for things to see.

Great location just 2 mins from Central Station and about 6 mins from Grand Place.

Depending on the length of time you have I would recommend a visit to Ghent and Antwerp, both easily accessible from Brussels very easily

Good location for downtown Brussels and close to tourist sites but not really 4 star quality. Service perfunctory and quality of fittings etc more a 2 or 3 star level. Breakfast just so so.
